FUPRE JUPEB Form 2024/2025 is Out [No JAMB Required]

FUPRE JUPEB Form for the 2024/2025 Session has been released. The closing date is Thursday, 12th September, 2024. This is the Foundation Programme. Candidates awaiting their results can apply. Application Fee is N15,000.

This is to inform all students who failed or didn’t write 2024 UTME but still wants to study at the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), that the school has two programmes that can still make you gain admission into the institution. The programmes are JUPEB and PRE-DEGREE.

Mode of Study: Full time

Closing Date: Thursday 12th September, 2024

Entrance Examinations:

A entrance examination for admission into the Programme will hold on Friday, 13th September 2024 by 9:00 am at the FUPRE ICT building.

About FUPREE Foundation (JUPEB) Programme

The programme leads to the award of Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) Certificate which shall enable candidates to gain Direct Entry admission into 200 level of the disciplines offered by FUPRE and other Universities in Nigeria and abroad.

The Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) certificate is equivalent to the Advance Level General Certificate of Education (GCE), Higher School Certificate (HSC) or Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB).  Candidates who successfully complete the programme shall also enjoy the privilege of being admitted into JUPEB affiliated institutions such as UNIBEN, OAU, UNILAG, UNN, UNIUYO, FUTA, FUNAAB, etc.

The duration of the programme is one academic session of two (2) semesters.  It is strictly a non-residential programme.

How the FUPRE JUPEB Programme Works.

Each candidate admitted into the programme will be exposed to an intensive academic work in three subject combinations relevant to their desired field of study.  The subjects are in consonance with the 100 Level courses of the relevant discipline currently offered in FUPRE.

Thus, candidates will offer six (6) courses per semester, making a total of twelve courses at the end of the programme.  Each course will be examined at the end of each semester but the results in all the courses taken will be merged at the end of the second semester to obtain a letter grade in each subject (i.e. A, B, C, D, E, & F).

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

(a)       Five (5) Ordinary Level Credit Pass in relevant subjects, to include English Language.  Awaiting result is also considered.

(b)       Students who meet the admission requirements will be invited for a written qualifying examination.

(c)       Successful candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Twenty Five Thousand Naira only (N25,000.00).

(d)       On admission, if any student voluntarily withdraws from the Programme, request for refund of school fee will NOT be entertained.

7 Environmental Management and Toxicology Five ‘O’ level credit pass in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. A pass in Physics and a credit pass Geography or Agricultural Science is allowed.
8 SLT Five ‘O’ level credit pass in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
9 Statistics Five ‘O’ level credit pass in English Language, Mathematics, Physics and two other Science subjects from Further Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology or Agricultural Science.

For admission into FUPRE and other affiliate institutions, each candidate, in addition to passing the prescribed JUPEB examination in order to obtain the Direct Entry Certificate, must satisfy all admission requirements prescribed by the Departments and Colleges of choice.

Candidates Eligible to Apply for FUPRE JUPEB Form

  1. Candidate must possess a minimum of 5 credit passes in at least five (5) subjects at O’ Level, including English Language and Mathematics at not more than 2 sittings in the GCE, SSCE, WAEC, NECO, NABTEB..

Duration of FUPRE JUPEB Programme

The duration of the programme is one academic session of two (2) semesters.  It is strictly a non-residential programme.

How to Apply for FUPREE JUPEB Form

Application Fee for Foundation Programme is Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000) only.

Follow the procedure below to apply:

  • To begin any payment, Enter your Full Name, Email and Phone Number,
  • The Session, Type of Application, Amount and Processing Charge are already active
  • Select the Payment Type and
  • Click Proceed Button
  • NOTE: If your payment type is Card that means you want to make payment using your Master Card, VISA or Verve Card.
    However, if you select Bank it means you want to go to the bank to make payment as such print the Payment Invoice and proceed to the any bank to pay using the RRR Number on the invoice.
  • Carefully fill all the required fields, submit and print out your confirmation page.
